Your software deserves more than just working.
We turn code and systems into solutions that are secure, efficient and ready to grow. WIP is an engineering company that takes technical responsibility for making technology work for your business, working remotely with companies in any country.
From the first deploy to operating at scale.
How we can help
How can WIP help your software?
WIP solves four kinds of problems: putting software live safely, making a system faster and cheaper to run, protecting data and access, and preparing the architecture to grow.
-
Go live
Turn your project into a production-ready product: domain, HTTPS, repeatable deploys, backups and documentation.
-
Improve performance
Eliminate bottlenecks and unnecessary costs by measuring before and after, not by guessing.
-
Protect your systems
Take care of data, access and recovery, with tested backups and mapped risks.
-
Prepare for growth
Evolve your architecture to match real demand: caching, queues, redundancy and load testing.
Who we serve
Who does WIP work for?
Three audiences that share the same catalog and the same engineering team: people who built their own software, companies that depend on their systems, and teams that need specialized support.
-
WIP for Creators
Software creators
You built your software. We help you bring it into the world safely.
-
WIP for Business
Businesses
Your company takes care of the business. We take care of the engineering behind the technology.
-
WIP for Teams
Teams and software agencies
Your team builds. We help make your systems more reliable, efficient, and scalable.
From Code to Production
How does the work go, from code to production?
Every engagement follows the same journey: understand, agree in writing, execute with a way back, release and keep it running. The WIP symbol tracks it: an open P means work in progress; a closed P means the system is in production.
- 01
Diagnosis
We understand the system, the risks and what matters to the business.
- 02
Plan
Priorities, costs and acceptance criteria agreed in writing.
- 03
Execution
Fixes and improvements with tests and a way back.
- 04
Deploy
Repeatable, secure and documented releases.
- 05
In production
Live, monitored and with tested backups.
In production - 06
Evolution
Ongoing operation and measured improvements, no hype.
Services and prices
What services does WIP offer and how much do they cost?
Nine services in three levels: starting points, engineering projects and monthly contracts. Prices below are reference values in US dollars; infrastructure, licenses and third-party services are billed separately.
| Service | What it solves | Type | Reference price |
|---|---|---|---|
| WIP Check | You don't know if your system is secure, if your backups work, or where to start improving it. | Starting point | starting at US$ 150 |
| WIP Rescue | The system crashes, slows down, or keeps costing more, and nobody knows exactly why. | Starting point | starting at US$ 470 |
| WIP Launch | Your software works on your computer, but you don't know how to launch it safely and without surprises. | Engineering project | starting at US$ 470 |
| WIP Optimize | The system works, but it slows down when it matters most or costs more than it should. | Engineering project | quoted after assessment |
| WIP Scale | A campaign, a big client, or a launch is coming, and you don't know if your system can handle it. | Engineering project | quoted after assessment |
| WIP Modernize | The system still keeps the business running, but it's outdated and fragile, and every change is expensive. | Engineering project | quoted after assessment |
| WIP Care | The system is live, but nobody keeps regular track of backups, updates, and alerts. | Monthly contract | starting at US$ 185 per month |
| WIP Managed | Your systems run the business, but nobody is there to oversee them, plan ahead, and make changes safely. | Monthly contract | starting at US$ 470 per month |
| WIP Mission Critical | Downtime or data loss costs your business too much to leave to improvisation. | Monthly contract | quoted after assessment |
Why WIP
What makes WIP different?
The WIP promise is technology that works for the business, not just code that works on the developer's computer. Five commitments back that promise.
-
Technology independence
We don't push a stack or a provider. We recommend a simple VPS, a public cloud or a hybrid architecture, based on what you actually need.
-
From code to operations
We don't stop when the deploy is done. Testing, security, databases, monitoring, recovery and maintenance are part of the job.
-
Measured results
We measure what matters to the business: response time, error rate, availability, cost per operation and recovery time.
-
Plain-language communication
Clear recommendations, predictable costs and explanations that don't require you to know the technical terms.
-
AI with engineering validation
We use AI to be more productive in code, analysis, testing and documentation. Critical decisions and security have a designated owner.
Team
Who takes care of your software?
A multidisciplinary team of experienced consultants: together, 92 years in software engineering, architecture, infrastructure, artificial intelligence, digital product and the public sector.
Open resource
Is your software ready for production?
The Checklist From Code to Production gathers what WIP checks in a diagnosis: deploy, security, data, monitoring, costs, DNS and readiness for AI agents. Use it freely.
Frequently asked questions
What does WIP do?
WIP is an engineering company that designs, deploys, optimizes and operates software and infrastructure. It takes technical responsibility for making technology work well for the business, from the first deploy to ongoing operations.
Where do I start if I don't know exactly what the problem is?
With WIP Check, the technical diagnosis. It reviews architecture, code and infrastructure, points out risks, bottlenecks and waste, and ends with an executive report and a prioritized action plan. The reference price starts at US$ 150.
Does WIP work with only one cloud provider?
No. WIP is vendor-independent and recommends the option that fits the problem: a simple VPS, Cloudflare, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure or a hybrid architecture.
Is infrastructure included in the price of the services?
No. Infrastructure, licenses, cloud usage and third-party services are listed separately from WIP's fees, so you know exactly how much goes to each one.
Do you help people who built their software with AI or no-code tools?
Yes. That is one of WIP's main audiences. We help get software built with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Lovable and similar tools out into the world safely.
Does WIP work with companies outside Brazil?
Yes. WIP works remotely with companies in any country, in English or Portuguese.
