# Jorge Fonseca: IT solutions architecture and artificial intelligence

Jorge Fonseca has a career spanning more than four decades, more than 35 years of it in information technology, and today applies artificial intelligence to systems integration, process automation and regulatory compliance.

## What is Jorge's experience?

Jorge started in 1976 as a plant operator at a chemical company in Bahia, Brazil, and worked in maintenance planning, systems analysis, technical training and logistics before focusing on information technology. That is why Jorge knows, from the inside, the operations that systems need to support.

Jorge spent more than four decades at Dow: as a systems administrator in São Paulo and, from 2000, as a senior specialist and then solutions architecture lead in the United States, before taking on technical services management. For more than ten years, Jorge was responsible for environment, health and safety (EHS) systems for the company and its subsidiaries in several countries.

Today Jorge focuses on artificial intelligence solutions for regulatory compliance, ERP integration and process automation in complex industries such as chemicals.
